There is more than one way in.
Money helps. So does an afternoon of your time, a boot full of notebooks, or telling one other person that this place exists.
Organise a donation drive
Run a collection where you already are-at work, at college, or on your street.

- We can tell you exactly what is short this month
Sponsor a child
Cover the cost of one child's schooling, meals and care through the year.
- Supports one child's education and daily needs
- Updates on how the year is going

Give directly
Contributions go to school fees, food, medical care and the village centres.

What the home actually needs
If you are running a collection, these are the things that get used immediately.
- School notebooks and stationery
- School uniforms and shoes
- Story books in English and Kannada
- Rice, pulses and cooking provisions

- Sports equipment
Shalom is a registered children’s home, and donations are eligible for 80G tax exemption. Donations can be accepted from within India only.
